We are Galen & Nicole, a husband and wife team who loves snorkeling, and are doing our best to snorkel all the best locations around the world.

But along the way we have encountered a problem, over and over. That problem is that most of the information available on the web and in books is focused on diving. Even the books that say they are diving and snorkeling guides generally have some pretty worthless and incorrect snorkeling information. You can hardly even find a good snorkeling forum on the web. Snorkeling is almost always relegated to a little area on a diving forum.

Well, diving and snorkeling are two different things, and snorkeling is not some lesser cousin to diving. The current industry does not seem to recognize that there are lots of people who love to just snorkel, who don't want to dive, but still need good snorkeling information for the places they want to visit.

We have also experienced a general lack of respect for being a snorkeler by individuals and companies. These experiences led us to creating this small business.

So what we do at our little business is pretty simple:
1. We create and provide products that really help snorkelers have better experiences.
2. We treat snorkelers with the respect they deserve.
3. We snorkel the world (OK, this last one is almost purely selfish).

Between the two of us we have owned a handful of small customer service oriented businesses (as well as one of the most popular snorkeling websites for several years). The big lesson we have learned is to focus on helping to solve people's problems. But we have also learned that we have to love what we are doing, to bring about the quality of excitement and long term energy needed to drive a business for many years. And as you can imagine, we have a love affair with this business. We have so many products and ideas that we intend to bring to snorkelers that it will take us years to accomplish. So stay tuned.
